Scentsy Story
Hi, I’m Matt! I’m a homebody, a fragrance fanatic, and one of those Millennials with an unhealthy obsession for Harry Potter. I’ve also been fascinated by things that smell good for longer than is reasonable, so I guess I’ve always had a soft spot for the magic of fragrance. My love of home fragrance goes way back. I was the kid asking Santa for candles for Christmas, and over the years that turned into making my own candles and wax melts, selling fragrance products, and developing the completely normal habit of wanting to smell absolutely everything. What I love most is how quickly fragrance can change a space, a mood, or even a memory. The right scent can make an ordinary room feel warmer, cozier, cleaner, brighter — somehow just a little more special. That’s a big part of what drew me to Scentsy. There are so many ways to enjoy fragrance: wax and warmers, candles, waxless options, and even everyday things like laundry and cleaning. I love that once you find a scent you really connect with, there may be all kinds of ways to bring it into your home and routines. I originally joined Scentsy because I genuinely loved the products. After some time away, I decided to come back with a much clearer idea of what I wanted to do with that enthusiasm. Enter WelcomeWax. This is where I get to indulge my curiosity: trying the new thing, revisiting old favorites, comparing one fragrance to another, deciding exactly where something belongs, and sharing the good finds when I come across them.
